Welcome to rmdStudio version 8.0! We last redesigned our website seven years ago, and our services have undergone many changes since then. It was time to launch a new website that accurately represents our services.
Rastin Mehr Design Studio Inc. started as a web design and development company in a university dorm while its founder studied computer science. Later, due to market demand, the company’s services shifted to developing web applications. It became the first company in Vancouver to create a healthcare mobile app for a team of doctors, and it started building client-server architecture shortly after 2017.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we experienced a peak demand for multi-user information systems that our clients used to exchange medical and scientific research and patient data. Their requirements instructed us to expand our services further, designing and maintaining distributed cloud infrastructure and a variety of browser, mobile, and desktop apps.
Scientific and healthcare platforms and applications have unique security and privacy requirements preventing us from using mainstream SAAS and PAAS solutions in B2C and consumer applications. That is where our expertise and experience came to aid our clients in building custom solutions in a private cloud environment where they could securely collect, share, and manage scientific and healthcare data.
Due to customer privacy privileges, many projects we have been developing since the pre-pandemic era still need to be added to our portfolio without oversharing our customer’s private intellectual properties. We will, however, publish aspects of those projects during the upcoming months.
We’ve never had a sales and marketing team; we build our marketing solutions and materials. Our approach has always been to create innovative solutions and tell the world about them, and this approach served us very well. Our focus until now has been launching the new version 8.0 website; now, we can’t wait to shift our focus to creating content about all the ideas we have brought to life during the past few years.
