iOS app for cancer patients who are going through chemo and radiation treatments

Do you know a chemo or radio oncologist?

We need your help! Do you happen to know a chemo or radio oncologist? We need their advice for a healthcare iOS app that we are developing called Chemora. This app is for patients who are going through  chemo or radiation treatments.

How can you help us?

After receiving each treatment, Chemora helps cancer patients log their 4 critical symptoms a daily basis. These symptoms are: nausea, pain, energy, and body temperature. Chemora creates charts and reports using the logged data. A patient can print or email this report to their oncologist. The oncologist reviews the data and makes adjustments to the drugs and treatments.

How is this done right now?

Patients who are going through chemo and radiation treatments receive a notebook for keeping journal. The side effects of chemo and radiation makes it difficult for patients to keep accurate records of their symptoms. One of the symptoms called the Chemo Fog or Chemo Brain makes it difficult for them to recall their experiences during the first few weeks of receiving a treatment. As a result they give inaccurate answers to their oncologists.

Chemora helps oncologists receive accurate insight about their patients symptoms and make appropriate adjustments to their patient’s drugs and treatments.
